“Talk About Dance is a biannual Dance for World Community event that brings together Greater Boston’s dance artists, activists, and other dance experts and enthusiasts who believe that expanding the role of dance in our society can help build stronger communities.
Talk About Dance invites you to ‘From Dance Artists to Dance Therapists’, a presentation by a panel of performing artists and expressive arts specialists who are all focused on dance as a means of transforming lives. Learn how these individuals are working to create social change on a number of different levels through public performance, workshops with small groups, or one-on-one therapeutic practices. How can their work contribute to creating broader social change? What can we learn from them that can make our own work more effective?”
